Description

The Open Control System Controller is a fully programmable controller that is intended for Building Control System; Environment Control System and HVAC Control Systems. The Controller being fully programmable will ensure control & monitoring application versatility, allowing specific application to be created according to each facility or application requirement.

The controller is a fully configurable controller based on the PIC series micro-controller with an on-board clock and one RS-485 communications Bus. The two digital outputs 240VAC relays (7 Amps) are ideal for driving contractors and starters directly. The two analog outputs (0 – 10 VDC or 4 – 20 mA) are used for modulating actuators or dampers or electronic-pneumatic actuators or variable speed drives and other analog actuators. The three digital inputs are be used for pulse counting and reading contact closures directly. The two analog inputs are be used for reading the PT 1000 temperature sensor, 4 to 20mA and 0 to 10VDC input signals.

The fact that the controller is fully programmable ensures complete control and monitoring application flexibility. The same standard controller hardware can be used for control and monitoring of the following applications:

  • HVAC, BAS & EMS Systems.
  • Chiller, Heat Pump units and Rooftop units.
  • Other types of programs can be developed according to customers’ specifications.

All connections to the Open Control System Controller are via screw terminals for easy installation and servicing. The screw terminals accept wire sizes from 0.5 to 1.5 mm sq. section area cable.
